The tri-nation series under ICC World Cricket League-2, which will take place in Nepal on February 2, is being prepared for by the Nepali cricket team. In preparation for the tri-nation cricket series between Nepal, Namibia, and Scotland, closed training is taking place.
Twenty players are in closed training, including Sandeep Lamichhane, who is accused of rape. Sandeep has also been contacted by CAN’s committee to select players for this series for closed training. After the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) meeting on Wednesday in Pokhara lifted Sandeep’s suspension, he rejoined the national team.
At the university cricket field, the closed-training players now regularly practice.
