Kathmandu – Mexico won 2-1 over Saudi Arabia in World Cup football.Henry Martin scored in the 47th minute and Luis Chavez scored in the 52nd minute of the game at the Lucille Stadium in Qatar last night.

Salim Aldawasri of Saudi scored a goal in the injury time of the game.Despite a 2-1 win over Saudi Arabia, Mexico is out of the group stage. In Group C, Mexico finished third with 4 points from 3 matches. Saudi remained at the bottom with 3 points.
