Keshav Bhattarai, chairman of the Nepal Film Development Board, has passed away. The news of Bhattarai’s death at midnight has not been made known. However, he died of a heart attack, according to the Om Hospital source.
According to family source Ranjit Poudel, Bhattarai is being treated at Om Hospital after the illness. Most artists had a mobile switch off when trying to get detailed information.
The cabinet meeting held on March 3 had decided to appoint Bhattarai as chairman of the ward. Prior to becoming president, Bhattarai had been busy in filmmaking and acting for a long time.
