Nepal Africa Film Festival begins

22 films from 12 countries will participate in the eleventh edition of the three-day ‘Nepal Africa Film Festival 2023’, which will be held from June 23 to 25.

Manju Mishra, the president of the festival, informed that the program organized by the College of Journalism and Mass Communication and co-organised by the Film Development Board and Sintika Creation will exchange culture between Nepal and Africa.

He said, “We are continuously organizing the festival to connect two different continents, 10 Africans from 11 countries and 12 films and documentaries from Nepal have participated in the festival.”

Director of the festival, Dabbu Kshatri, informed that there will be a one-day acting workshop at the festival and an interaction on the topic of ‘National and International Market of Nepali Short Films’. The festival will be organized at Nachghar in Jamal.
