The much awaited Hollywood film ‘Barbie’ is also going to be screened in Nepal on July 5th. On Monday morning according to Nepali time, the Ryan Gosling starrer film has been world premiered in Los Angeles, USA. After the premiere, reviews of the film have also started coming out.

After the film premiere, some fans and Hollywood media are arguing that actor Gosling should win an Oscar award from this film. Famous stars including Margot Robbie, Issa Ray, Ryan Gosling and Dua Lipa participated in the premiere ceremony. Many stars were also surprised to see the look inspired by the completely pink Barbie doll.

This fictional film is based on the American toy company Mattel’s Barbie fashion doll. It was directed by Greta Gerwig. According to the story of the film, it is based on the story of how Barbie and Ken go out in search of the real world after being expelled from ‘Barbie Land’.

Talking about the premiere, the distribution company Warner Bros selected some limited audiences and showed the film. There has been a wave of reactions on social media. Joseph Dekelmeyer, a writer at ScreenRant portal, called the film “funny, heart-touching and very smart”. He called Robi’s acting great and said that the film is purely entertaining. Collider writer Perry Nemiroff praised the film’s craftsmanship, particularly the costumes and production design. Comicbook author Jamie Zirak called the film his “favourite film of the year”.
