Meeting between Prachanda and Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, discussion on film and cultural issues

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who is visiting Nepal, had a meeting with Chairman of CPN Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.

Actor Oberoi Bua and television personality Suresh Oberoi reached Khumaltar on Thursday to meet President Prachanda. Singer and Prachanda’s granddaughter Smita Dahal was also present in the meeting. Oberoi wore a dhaka cap during the meeting with Prachanda.

According to Surya Kiran, Prachanda’s press advisor, the film and cultural themes were discussed in the meeting. Prachanda said that he used to watch the films of Suresh Oberoi, who is also a seasoned Bollywood actor.

Suresh praised Prachanda saying that he knows him as a leader who will bring change in the country. During the meeting, Suresh and Vivek explained the food, culture and natural beauty of Nepal to Prachanda. Prachanda wished the Oberoi family to stay in Nepal.
