A massive overhaul of Disney’s film releases, with the last series of ‘Avatar’ in 2031

Hollywood studio Disney has made extensive changes in the calendar of the film that is being prepared for release. According to Variety, Disney has set a new schedule of screening dates by including popular films.

Along with the upcoming series of ‘Avatar‘, there are also ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Moana’ in this list of manipulations. According to this list, ‘Deadpool 3’ will be released on May 3, 2024, while the upcoming film of ‘Star Wars’ will be released on December 18, 2026. According to the details, the release date of the film ‘Avatar’ has been pushed back by a year.

‘Avatar 3’ has reached December 19, 2025. ‘Avatar 4’ will be released on December 21, 2029. ‘Avatar 5’ will be released on December 19, 2031. According to this schedule, the last series of ‘Avatar’ will be shown 22 years after the original film was released. The first series of ‘Avatar’ was released in 2009.

The schedule of other films has also undergone extensive changes. In which ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ will be shown on July 26, 2024. ‘Blade’ is scheduled to release on February 14, 2025, Fantastic Four on May 2, 2025, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty on May 1, 2026. ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ has reached May 7, 2027.

The delay in the production and the ongoing strike of the film writers have been attributed to the change in the release date. Disney has recently stopped the production of films like ‘Blade’ and ‘Thunderbolts’. The impact of which has affected all the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
